[Update – Aug 1, 2016]
It’s hard to believe we’ve been on the road for 45 days now. Where does time go? We’ve had to make some slight changes to our bags. Below we’ve scratched out the items that were sent home or just left behind. A couple of new items were also added to the bags and few were moved from Kasm’s bag to ours. See below for details on our travel packing list.

Bagolution!! Ok so we made that name up but pretty cool eh! I can’t take credit for it as it was Bruce that came up with it. Bagolution will be our attempt at seeing how our “bags” evolve throughout the year as we travel the world. We’ll update this list every 2 to 3 months as we add/remove/update items.
We did a proper test run of packing today. Let me tell you, trying to make sure your bag only weighs 10 KG is not easy!! Specially when the contents of that bag is for a one year trip around the world. But we did it!
Bruce and I have been reading a lot about how to pack light. A lot of planning and thought has gone into every single item that’s going into our bags. Bruce even weighed some of his socks to make sure only the lightest make the cut!
So here’s a list of what’s in each of our bags.
