  • Venice - we keep hearing how crowded it's become. A shame some of the beautiful places in the world suffer from their popularity. We were fortunate to find many quiet spots in #venezia - some streets we were completely alone.
Keep Exploring
  • Tokyo - have you had the pleasure? I was so pleasantly surprised by both how quiet and how clean it was for a massive city. And the food - just wow. Can't wait for a return.
  • We had the great good fortune of staying in Nazare, Portugal for a month. Loved it. Quiet small town, nice food, nice people - the market is great!! If you like Indian food they have a stellar resto.
I'll have a few more pics coming soon, follow if you love Portugal.
  • Another highlight of our grand adventure (sorry, there were many), was being able to spend a month in Portugal. We fell in love with the country.
We spent most of our time in Nazare but here's a shot from our couple days in #Porto What a photographer's dream. Great scenes around every corner. I'll share a few over the next couple days.
Give me a thumbs up (or a smiley) if you love Portugal!
  • Walking around the #kerepesicemetery in Budapest was amazing.
So often as a traveller we end up in locations that are just swarming with other visitors. Not here. In the busy, bustling city we found tranquility, sombre peacefulness, stunning monuments and sections that were losing their battles with time.
Amazingly we had the place to ourselves. We walked for an hour and maybe saw 3 or 4 other folks. A highly recommended off the beaten path spot to check out. Just remember to be respectful, it's not a playground.
  • This was the view while walking across the bridge to the Buda side of #budapest
These boats looked so inviting. High on my travel list is a cruise down the #danuberiver
Have you been on a Euro river cruise, what was the best part?
  • We had no idea what to expect on our way to #Budapest
Uncharted territory for our travelling family.
That's the beauty with adventure...the unknown.
Well, now we know how beautiful this history-rich, vibrant, charming city is. One of the coolest cities for wandering around. From to pools to cemeteries to the many unique watering holes (find the 'ruined pubs'), there's a lot to love..
  • Another shot of our visit to #columbia

Here is Guatape, a short bus ride from Medellin. Spent a night exploring the town and climbing #peñoldeguatape
Happy to say our eleven year old made it up all 700+ steps!
